Stop into the shelter while we’re open and meet our adoptable orphans.  Chat with the staff  to see who would be the best match for you.  We encourage interaction with our adoptables because you never know who you’ll fall in love with.  

In order to be considered for adoption, you must; have the knowledge and consent of all members of the household , be 19 years of age, have valid identification with current address, have your landlord’s name and phone number.

Please understand that the Oromocto and Area SPCA reserves the right to not approve any request for adoption.   We are dedicated to making the best matches possible for our orphans and our adopters.

Once you’ve met your match, fill out an adoption form.  There is an overnight waiting period as this ensures that we have time to process the adoption and potential adopters have time to consider the adoption and make preparations.

Dogs – All adoption fees include first set of vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter, flea treatment, microchip and an Adoption Package from Royal Canin

• Puppies $225 ($240 effective Jan.1/22)
• Smaller Breed Dogs $225 ($240 effective Jan.1/22)
• Adult Dogs $175 ($185 effective Jan.1/22)

Cats - All adoption fees include first set of vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter, flea treatment, microchip and an Adoption Package from Royal Canin

• Kittens $160 ($175 effective Jan.1/22)
• Adult Cats $100 ($110 effective Jan.1/22)
• Luv-a-life Cats (Cats with us 3 months +) $50

Small Animals - Rabbits $85. Please contact OSPCA for other small animal availability and adoption fees. Please call 446-4107.

In Search Of - If you are in search of a specific breed / type of dog, cat or small animal please contact the staff at 446-4107 and we will happily put you on our waiting list.  We will contact you if an animal comes in that we think you will want to meet.
